CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force)

• ​​​​​CRPF stands for the Central Reserve police force and it has many glorious histories.
• CRPF has many duties such as crowd control, Riot control, Overall coordination of large force security, Relief Operations, Rescue Operations such as natural calamities, Fighting with the enemy at the time of war, etc.
• They need to maintain the rule of law under the government, ensuring the public order effectively and efficiently and promote social harmony.
• Now the CRPF has grown into a big force with 245 Bns which includes executive bns, Mahila bns, Signal Bns, Group centers, Training institutions, CWS, AWS, SWS, MWS and composite hospitals (Composite Hospital (100 Bed) -4 and Composite Hospital (50 Bed) -17).

• The Head Quarters of CRPF is located in New Delhi.
• The head of the CRPF is Director General, who is assisted by 3 additional Directors General, 7 inspector general of the police, Director of medical and Financial advisor.

Training Directorate is assisted by DIG (Training-I) and DIG (Training-II).

Operations Directorate

Provisioning directorate

Training Directorate is assisted by the Assistant Director (Prov), DIG(Prov), DIG(MT/Ord).

Communication directorate

The communication directorate is assisted by DIG (IT), DIG (Eqpt) and DIG (Tech).

Intelligence Directorate

The intelligence directorate is assisted by DIG (MAC) and Commandant(Int).
